How It Works:
Step
1: Come in...take a deep breath and relax. This is time of day
you've been waiting for all week. When time stands
still and you slip away into the relaxing flow of painting pottery or making
mosaics. Take a few minutes to look around. When you are
ready, pick out the piece of pottery you want to paint or the mosaic project
you want to do. We have over 300 unique items to choose from. Our
prices are all-inclusive (no hourly or sitting fees) so take your time, there
is no rush.
Step
2: Receive free
personal tips & instructions to get you started
from one of our experienced staff.
Step
3 (Pottery Painters) : Pick out your painting tools: rubber stamps,
stencils, sponges, & brushes (our brushes are the best on the
market). Or look through our ideas books crammed with pictures & easy
to copy design ideas. These tools were made to take the guess work out of
painting. They are easy to use and we are always available to give you a
demonstration.
Then, pick out your colors of paint.
Our paints are uniquely formulated for our bisque, to bring out the richest
color available. We have over 85 different colors and there is no limit
to number of colors you can use.
Step
3 (Mosaic Makers) : Pick
out the mosaic medium you want to use. Choose from stained glass, ceramic
pieces, tile or mosaic gems. [Remember all
pieces are tumbled to remove their sharp edges & make them safe.]
There's no limit to how many different kinds
or colors of mosaic pieces you can use, so enjoy--there's plenty.
Step
4: Paint or Mosaic the
day or evening away.
Step
5: When you are done
painting we will glaze & fire your piece for you. When you are done mosaicing, we will give you grout to finish your project in
either white or black.
